What a roller coaster of political turmoil we have had. Boris apologising for the umpteenth time but this time was the last. There is only so many times the country can accept his apologies. During lockdown many of us missed our loved ones and friends and family events were cancelled. Many families lost loved ones without the chance to say goodbye and all the while the Prime Minister was not following his own rules and regulations. Then there is all the other rule breaks, denials etc. Although he did deliver us out of the European Union and one the fastest course of national Covid vaccinations in the world allowing us to get to some kind of normality after 2 years. Who will be the new leader of the Conservative Party and of course our new Prime Minister? Early September we will know the answer. 

 

What a scorching summer we have had so far. August is traditionally the month for holidays. Summer term has ended and the summer holidays are now in full swing. But will we all be able to jet away this summer to our destiny of choice, what with all the continued flight cancellations as well as the continued threats of strikes, lets hope so. Or perhaps you have chosen to stay in the UK for your summer break. What ever your choice of destination, lets hope you get the break you have worked so hard for.
