Dear Advertisers and Readers
Christmas comes but once a year but each year it seems to rush upon us quicker and quicker. No sooner have you taken the decorations down on twelfth night and packed them away, in a flash you seem to be putting them up again. It probably only seems like that because Christmas is such a happy time of the year, especially when all the stress of present buying and food shopping is over. This year with supply chain shortages, folk have been getting ready for the happy holiday earlier than ever. The upside of this being the Christrmas worry has been stretched and will be less come the great day. Whatever your situation, it is fair to say that everyone needs a good Christmas this year after the Covid plagued one in 2020. Our local shops and services also deserve a good festive season after the nearly two years of disruption. At your feasting drink a toast for happier more settled times ahead for the people of our circulation area and the rest of this wonderful world which has been so decimated by the dreaded virus. May 2022 see the back of it.

The Annual Christmas Tree festival takes place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th December at St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Ash from 10am each day. Entrance is free and all the lovely creatively designed trees need to be judged by you. Refreshments will be available. At the same church on the Saturday of the Festival at 8pm the Kent Chamber Choir will be performing their Christmas Concert. This should be an uplifting and joyful experience as carol concerts at this time of the year always are. Why not get into the true Christmas spirit by finding one happening near you. It could be just the morale boost you need.
Happy Covid free Christmas from
Carole, Sally, Colin
