This year BEAMS, who support disabled children and families are holding a BIG CHRISTMAS RAFFLE where you could win 1st prize £1500 and 2nd prize £300, it’s just £2 to enter. The Annual Christmas Tree Festival takes place on Saturday 13th December from 10am to 5pm, Sunday 14th December from 1pm to 5pm and Monday 15th December from 10am to 12 noon at St Peter & St Paul’s Church, Ash. Entrance is FREE and all the lovely creatively designed trees need to be judged by you. Refreshments will be available. This is just one of the events over the next few weeks, there are many more Christmas markets and fairs in local schools and village halls, many selling hand crafted and unique goods, perfect for that special gift for Christmas so why not get into the true Christmas spirit and get involved. You will be supporting local arts and crafts as well as finding some unique gifts for your friends and loved ones.
Save The Black Horse pub in Stansted are hosting pop up pub nights in Stansted Village Hall from 7:30pm—10:30pm with low cost drinks and a way of keeping a sense of social community in the village as well as providing regular updates set up to savethepub.
