No doubt, like us all, you ate and drank too much and are now thinking ‘how can I get those added pounds off!’ Slimming World have groups in your area plus
there is Hartley Nutrition based next to Hartley Post Office, both groups are there to help and support in your weight loss journey. There is also the Park Runs every Saturday, a 5K walk, run or jog which are well managed and FREE to all participants. Check out the website https://www.parkrun.org.uk/ to find your nearest Park run. Or check out your local council who organise regular walks and running clubs. New Year resolutions are of course hard to keep but trying can be fun and a challenge. Plenty of those advertising with The Village Advertiser can help you on your way not just this month but all through the year. May good health and prosperity be with you on your journey through 2025.
Hopefully your hangover from the New Year’s celebrations will have cleared by the time Burns Night (25th January) comes around.
Although a long way from bonnie Scotland, I know that somewhere in our area a toast of whiskey will be raised and a haggis shared, in
honour of the Ayrshire British culture.
HAPPY NEW YEAR
The Village Advertiser
