Not long left of the Summer holidays now, and exciting times ahead for Lynsey Longfield who will be opening a brand new Saturday morning Slimming World group on Saturday 30th of August at 9am at Longfield Hill Community Hall, Nurstead Lane. Don't worry she'll still be running her six groups every Monday at Longfield Community Hall just up the road from her new group.This is great news for anyone who has struggled to get to a Slimming World group in the week for whatever reason. The latest campaign for Slimming World highlights that Lynsey and her fellow Slimming World Consultants can support anyone who has chosen to go down the route of weight loss injections or surgery as it's more important than ever that people are given the correct support to make those long term lifestyle changes with their diet and activity alongside the medication for it to be effective.The latest information states that having that support is crucial once they stop the medication to ensure they don't gain everything they lose and more. We all know Slimming World is a lifestyle change of habits and behaviour and Lynsey has kept her weight off for over 23 years now which says it all.

The Stansted and Fairseat Parish Council are making an effort to try and save The Black Horse pub in Stansted by hosting popup pub nights inStansted Village Hall from 7:30pm—10:30pm with low cost drinks and a way of keeping a sense of social community in the village, as well as providing regular updates set up to save the pub.
